The picture here (seen in much clearer detail) was taken when Paul and I were away for our First Anniversary -- we cycled around Paris on these little rented bicycles with baskets in front.
The basket on the left is mine, with my Denim GAP bag and (Paul says, chinky looking) hat, and his everlasting Crumpler bike bag.
The quote itself means a lot to us, as we’ve overcome many obstacles to get where we are now, and we’re still going to have a somewhat long-distance marriage whilst we have our respective jobs that we enjoy doing for the time being.
And in case you’re wondering, yes, we will eventually live together. When and where, are questions left unanswered for now. But hey, they're tiny matters, really. :)

ReplyDeleteThis is soooo sweet! And I can totally relate to that. Being married for a year now, I'm still going through LDR (hubby's coming back from Japan next week after 4 months). Last year, same ordeal but 5 months and mid-way in Japan, went to KL to get married to me and then the next day, flew back to Japan. Some asked why I chose this path, and I replied, "Because this is temporarily.... we find the right partner, lock it in quickly and make sacrifices worth making because tomorrow we will have awesome moments!" Nobody should judge, it's our decision. Some asked if I have gone through quality time with him yet, which I found hillarious, implying that I don't spend enough time with him around or that we don't have enough arguments yet and have gone through good and bad times together. Bizarre. LDR will be an obstacle but with bz lifestyles, u'll go through them together pretty well and fast too! If you have ur heads on ur shoulders.. not a problem at all. XOXO kimong.com
